Crossword Puzzle Creator: Installation

Floppy Disk
-----------

You need all the files in the "Cross"-drawer on this disk, plus:

 - ARP.library
 - Icon.library
 - Printer.device
 - Parallel.device
   (printers connected to the serial port are not supported at this time)
 - Port-Handler
 - appropriate printer driver
 - Assign-command

Create a bootable disk (FORMAT, INSTALL); I will call the freshly formatted
disk "Y", and the disk you received Cross on "X".

Now copy
 * the libraries from "SYS:Libs" into a drawer called "Libs" on "Y"
 * the devices from "SYS:Devs" into a drawer called "Devs" on "Y"
 * the "Cross"-Drawer from "X" drawer with the same name on "Y"
 * the Port-Handler from "SYS:l" into a drawer called "l" on "Y"
 * the printer driver that is suited best for your printer from the
   "SYS:Devs/Printers" drawer into a drawer with the same name on "Y"
 * the "Assign"-command from "SYS:c" to a drawer called "c" on "Y"

Then create a Startup-Sequence on "Y" which must contain at least the
following entries:

   Assign Cross: <disk.name>:Cross
   Cross:Cross

   (insert the actual disk name of "Y" for <disk.name>)


Hard disk
---------
Hard disk users will probably have all required files already somewhere on
their hard disk drive; simply copy the "Cross"-drawer from "X" to your
hard disk, and then add the "Assign" to your Startup-Sequence.
