There are four ways to load SuperTex. 1. Click on the SuperTex icon which loads in the program with the default Viatel Config file. 2. Open the Config drawer and click on the MNet.A icon. This will load SuperTex with an auto-log-on Config for users with intelligent modems. It is set to a default speed of 1200/75. You will have to input your local Prestel number and you can amend the speed to suit your modem merely by clicking on the appropriate box - the speeds will change with every click. 3. Open the Config drawer and click on the MNet.M icon. This will load SuperTex with a Config for manual modems. It is set to a default speed of 1200/75. 4. From the CLI by typing in SUPERTEX CONFIG/NNNNNN (where NNNNNN is the name of the required Config file, e.g. SuperTex Config/MNet.A). The program looks for Config files in the Config drawer/directory - it's the way the program is, I'm afraid. Setting up a Config file from within SuperTex is very easy. All the options are available via the Config menu. The only glitch is that no matter what Config file is loaded, the Dial menu still shows Viatel as the service name, UNLESS the Config file is loaded via the Config menu. Even so, click on it to dial Micronet and it will work.
