DeluxeVideo III Demo This demo is an example of the kinds of multimedia presentations you can create with DeluxeVideo III. It is distributed on two disks, and can be run from a 2-floppy system or from a hard drive. 1 megabyte of memory is required. The demo also supports Amiga audio and/or a MIDI device (we used a Roland MT-32 sound module.) Installation: On a floppy system: 1) Copy both of the demo disks 2) Boot your Amiga with DVideoIII-Demo1 in df0: and DVideoIII-Demo2 in df1: 3) Double-click on the "DVideoIII-Demo.Floppy" icon On a hard drive system: 1) Create a drawer on your hard drive named "DVideo-Demo" 2) Drag the following icons into the DVideo-Demo drawer: From DVideoIII-Demo1: DVPlayer DemoParts DVideoIII-Demo.HD From DVideoIII-Demo2: DemoParts 3) Double-click on the "DVideoIII-Demo.HD" icon. (NOTE: Running this video will require slightly more than 1 megabyte of memory.) To play the music through a MIDI device: 1) At the workbench screen, click on the DVPlayer icon then select Info from the Workbench menu. 2) In the Tool Type gadget, click on Add then type "MIDI=yes". 3) Select Save to exit. This will automatically enable MIDI when the demo is played. (For the Roland MT-32 we set the drums at track 2, preset 115 and the bass at track 3, preset 28.) NOTE: This demo is BIG and requires all of the memory on a 1 megabyte system. If you have problems running the demo, close all of the windows and tasks and try again. If this fails, reboot your machine to clear out the memory (sometimes other processes can fragment memory which may prevent the demo from running.) This demo is freely distributable, and we encourage you to pass it on to your friends in the Amiga community. Enjoy! John Manley Electronic Arts Multimedia Group
