The process is as follows: 1. Make sure all your devices are talking to each other. Set tracking/picture sharpness settings so that you get the best quality picture on the source video. The target video should have both of these set to the central position. 2. Press play on the source video and start the sampling software so that it is monitoring the sound. Adjust the volume, bass, trebel, and/or equalizer settings so that the best sound is produced from the Amiga output. 3. Stop the source tape and rewind to the beginning of the section you want to process. Start the target video on record and press play on your source video. Now sit back and wait. Notes: If it makes any difference on the package you are using, set the sampling frequency to it's highest setting. If your sampler uses a battery, make sure you use Duracell and that it is fully charged before you start. The quality of sampling diminishes with even with a relatively full battery. If you want to process a particularly long excerpt, try and use a transformer which produces exactly the same current type (A/C) and voltage that the sampler requires. N.B.
