A2000 rev 6.2 A2630 25MHz 4MB Fast CF AztecMonster with 8GB Sandisk Ultra Kickstart 3.1 Workbench 3.1 Kickstart in FastRam (Using C:Cpu FASTROM) A2091 is a bit interesting, the scsi.device code is actually executed from the onboard ROMs. This makes the design more expensive as there are two ROMs to give full 16-bit bus width access to it and it saves some memory. However for faster processors than the 7MHz 68000 with local FastRAM, it will be much faster to execute the scsi.device code from the local FastRAM. These tests are made to compare how much speed can be gained from moving scsi.device from ROM to FastRam.
