Installing the WarpEngine Software. 1)Drag the WarpSoftware drawer from the WarpDisk to the HardDrive partition of your choice. In this drawer you will find the SCSITools HardDisk installation software and an icon for HDToolBox-WarpDrive, an expansion drawer with the WarpEngine HardDisk driver and a devs drawer with the WarpDrive.device HardDisk device driver. 2)The SCSITools program is explained in the Manual. 3)You can also use Commodore's HDToolBox program to install your HardDrive on the WarpEngine if you wish. To use this just double click on our HDToolBox-WarpDrive icon. The HDToolBox program must be in the Tools drawer on your system partition for this to work. 4)The WarpDrive file in the Expansion drawer is only used if you install a HardDrive and do not have SCSI Autobooting enabled on the WarpEngine. (The default setting is autobooting enabled.) If this is the case you would have to drag the WarpDrive file into the expansion drawer on the boot partition of the HardDrive you are using. You will also need to make sure that the Binddrivers command is run in your startup sequence. The WarpEngine will then recognise your HardDrive. 5)The WarpDrive.device file in the devs drawer does not need to be used as it is only for very special situations. 6)We have supplied WarpEngine utilities which you will find in the WarpUtils drawer. Thank You for purchasing a WarpEngine from MacroSystem Development. Robert Tingley President MacroSystem Development
